Several have been wondering when the next installment will be, well here it goes. I had some password issues and couldnt get it square but its all good now. Been doing pretty well the last couiple of weeks, able to walk with a cane most of the time and when its just short distances all on my own. I cant believe its been 5 months since my ordeal began, and in the beginning I thought to myself it would have been so much easier to have just layed on out. I know its the thing we shouldnt discuss, but when you hear all the terrible things, you think how in the hell am I gonna do this. Having a good support system helps alot. My whole family has been there for whatever we needed here. I have been given a reboot so I have a chance to do it better. This is a daily struggle for me but it is getting easier.
I never was a big sweet eater but now that I cant at all I just despise anyone that sets there and eats cake or a dougnut. They also seem like they intentionally eat in slow motion, bastards. In the beginning I wanted everyone to have to eat like I did, I mean its only fair, but I realize its not about changing everyone around me, its about adapting. I have mentioned before about trying to eat cleaner and healthier but we all love to go out. This is the hardest thing for a diabetic to do. I am not limiting my carbs and not eating sugar cause im watching my figure, I could die from consuming it. Thats a bit dramatic I know, but here we go, I constantly am ordering salads and even those can be misleading. Why do we need sugar in a salad. I also have noticed there is sugar in medicines. I guess Mary Poppins never heard of diabetes either.
I actually had I guess a sinus infection last week or a cold or possibly the infamous "crud" everyone has had. That threw my
sugar levels off quite a bit. I am feeling better now. I have now reached the 5 month mark with my disability ordeal and hopefully should here something soon one way or another. Hopefully soon because I havent worked in 5 months and still aint able to return.
